Goals for March...

Well I've been hard at work with the accomplishing my goals from February and I think I've met some of them.

as of end of Feb...
  • Using the box and printing has been working really great and I've started printing canvas tote bags.
  • This month looks like RDL vs. DVC collab is on schedule
  • Have not purchased canvas to start work on new paintings, funds are low
  • Next photo project will most likely be all film and the book I have chosen is Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. My model will be a friend of mine that has done some work for a mutual friend of our and I think he will work out fine.
  • Lastly, looking for locations for my next show has not been fruitful but I will keep pressing for it.
Last month I had a few set backs. Picked up a freelance job but the client ended up flaking on me. Called a couple plenty of times and also left emails but to no avail. I should probably post up the work since it's not going anywhere. Tell me what you think.

Goals for March are set and here they are.
  • Finish up RDL vs. DVC collab.
  • Try and purchase canvas for painting series, be modest if funds are low.
  • Plan out photoshoot with model and find locations, maybe even mockups of how it should look to me.*
  • Start printing t-shirts! Totebags were successful and yielded results not it's time to step it up.
  • Work on new freelance job with Locsta, rapper out of North LBC.
Theses two months have been great and I can't wait to see what's in store. STAY DIRTY!

*Film work will be done in medium format, this will be my first working in this format.

Next month is looking great...

D.V. Clothing will hopefully be at, cross your fingers, at the Long Beach Latin American Parade & Festival this Sept. 12 as a vendor for the inaugural event. We also have another art exhibit coming up with more details coming to our website soon with some great artists, Kwasi Boyd-Bouldin of Rebel Sciences and Jordan Eismont. Check back with this blog or our website for theses events coming up in September.

My work this month has given me the opportunity to work with the Hollywood Outdoor Cinema. A summer filled fun of outdoor screening of movies with about two hundred film-enthusiast at a really obscure place, a parking lot in Silverlake area of Los Angeles. I've been photographing this event for about a month and it's been great. Meeting great people and eating some spectacular food. The last screening is this weekend with the movie "GOONIES." Check out the HOC's website, http://hollywoodoutdoorcinema.com/, for more details.

Also, this coming September we are printing our next batch of shirts from our Fall 2009 collection. We will be printing periodically through the end of 2009. Become a Fan on our Facebook Page and tell us what you think, we love to hear from our fans to help us determine which shirt to print next. Our first shirt to be printed from our Fall 2009 will be, DIRTY TRUCK. Here's a sneak peak. STAY DIRTY!
